The Authentic Tapas Group started life as Casa Ruiz in Bridgnorth which we opened in March 2009. In October 2010 Casa Naranjo opened in Shrewsbury and so the group was born. There are now plans to open a further Tapas Bar in Birmingham City Centre and after that a Delicatessen, but one thing at a time!!....

Alfonso hails from Gran Canaria and has also lived in Madrid and Granada for many years. He is passionate about his country and the food we present reflects all these different areas of Spain.

We have both worked in the Restaurant and Hospitality trade for many years and we are genuinely passionate about good quality food and good service and we try very hard to please every guest that walks through our doors.
